YOU recently had a letter from one of your readers commenting on snowdrops at Hamptworth (Postbag, February 21).
All the snowdrops that are growing on the Hamptworth Road have been planted by a chap called Paul Jones – he has planted all of them and each year he splits and replants them.
They really are beautiful. He started doing the snowdrops to celebrate the millennium. He continues to do so, and he does so voluntarily.
