LIAM Feeney has completed a transfer-deadline day move to Coca-Cola Legue Two side AFC Bournemouth for an undisclosed fee.
Feeney had a brief loan spell with Southend United earlier this season after a move to Dagenham & Redbridge collapsed.
Whites' cash crisis meant they had to temporarily off-load some of its top earners such as Feeney to ease its wage bill.
The popular player, who returned in time for the Boxing Day win against Oxford United, scored 13 goals in 70-plus appearances for the Whites.
Manager Nick Holmes said: "We're sad to lose Liam as he's been part of our move through the league. It's been difficult for him - he's been pushed from pillar to post during the last few months. But he goes with our blessing and we wish him every success in the future.
"He was very appreciative of all we've done for him here at Salisbury and especially the help Tommy (Widdrington) gave him."
Feeney joined City from Hayes prior to the start of their debut Blue Square Premier season and was among the first full-time players at the club. He has signed a two-and-a-half year contract with the Cherries.
Bournemouth were also expecting to land Weymouth's Anton Robinson prior to the close of the transfer window.
