BEN Adelsbury has become the latest Salisbury City player to agree a new contract.
Whites manager Tommy Widdrington said he was delighted to confirm that the 19-year-old would be staying at the Ray Mac and would be part of the club’s Zamaretto Southern League Premier Division set-up.
The Barrow-in-Furness born player started his career with Plymouth Argyle and has also had spells with Swansea City and Exeter City.
“Ben made his debut on Boxing Day at a time when we were struggling with numbers, so he came into the side but playing out of position,” said Widdrington.
“It says a lot about his ability and his confidence that he then made that position his own and became a permanent fixture of the first team there for the rest of the season.”
Adelsbury has made 26 appearances for the Whites and scored four goals.
Fellow City player Bradley Gray yesterday also agreed on a new one-year deal with the Whites.
