The Black Hills 10K was a trail race where racers had to dodge low branches, tree roots and occasional rabbit holes. Stuart Holloway won in a time of 38:32. Other finishers were Mark Glanville 49:56 and Steve Mitchell 56:05.
More than 800 runners entered the Windsor Women’s 10K. Milly Rayner finished 33rd in 50:28.
Winchester Half Marathon was a hilly, brutal route. Despite that Kieran McManus finished in a very creditable 1:42:52.
Conditions were ideal for racing at the Faversham 10K on an undulating course. There was great support from locals lining the route. Tom Lay finished with a sprint in 1:11:41.
CoSARC sent a small squad to the final match in the Winchester and District Athletic Club’s season. There were many superb performances all round. Provisional results are : Samuel Bryant U11 Boys Howler Throw 21:02m, 75m 13:58, Long Jump 2:80m, 800m 2:38. Josh Rodwell U17 Male 100m PB 15:50, Long Jump 3:35m. Emily Bryant U15 Girls 100m 13:57, 200m 28:71, Long Jump 1st 4:54m. Curtis Lartey 200m 24:10. Charlie Coles 800m 1st and PB 2:08.3. James Rodwell 400M PB.
At Salisbury Parkrun Charlotte Ingram continued to improve her time with another PB performance. She was first lady home in 19:15. Junior runner Lexi Main also excelled with a PB of 30:48.
