FORRES Sandle Manor school’s skiing team took part in the National Schools’ Indoor Open Southern Championships and took first place in the junior boys’ event.
They also grabbed second spot in the junior mixed category.
After the event, four of those taking part were invited to train for the National Schools Alpine squad.
Forres Sandle’s director of sport Chris Hancock said: “I couldn’t be prouder of all of our pupils. Not only those chosen for the national team but for those that were pushing for places which kept the competition within school at such a high level.
“Having won the Muddy Stilettos best schools award earlier this year for their innovative sports programme, this is another fantastic accolade that the pupils and sports staff can be very proud of.”
