DEYNA Davie delivered a hat-trick as Salisbury Women started life at the Ray Mac with a 5-1 victory over Calne.
Zoe Alcock and Olivia Leather were also on target, as the Whites recorded their third win of the season in the Wiltshire County Ladies Premier League.
Despite an early injury to Salisbury’s Imogen Brady, the hosts took the lead after just 13 minutes.
Alcock tapped home a rebound after Evie Cummings saw her effort initially saved by the Calne keeper.
The hosts doubled their lead on 30 minutes when Davie skipped away from the visiting stopper to finish for 2-0.
Davie once again found the target for the hosts. She smashed home after being teed up by Rachel Lang, following a strong run from Alcock.
And the Salisbury star had her third before the break. After a corner was half-cleared by Calne, Davie volleyed home from the edge of the box to make it 4-0 and virtually end the game as a contest.
Leather then hit the bar for the Whites following the interval, but she was to add a fifth for the home side on 72 minutes.
After Leather’s first effort was blocked, she found the net with her second bite of the cherry to get her name on the scoresheet.
Calne did pull a goal back in the latter stages but Salisbury eased to a comfortable victory to put them fifth in the league table.
Salisbury make the trip to Melksham for their next league encounter on Sunday (2pm) before heading back to the Ray Mac to host Trowbridge on Sunday, November 20.
