SOUTH Wilts left-arm pace bowler Josh Croom, who topped the Premier Division charts with 48 wickets this summer, has been named ECB Southern Premier League Young Cricketer of the Year.
The 20-year old, who had trials with Warwickshire last month, is spending a third successive winter in South Australia playing for Glenelg, the seaside resort just outside of Adelaide.
His 48-wicket haul is the second highest in Premier Division history behind James Hibberd, who had 57 victims for South Wilts in 2008.
