SALISBURY City under 14s remain in second place in the Mid-Solent League after putting seven past College Youth without reply.

City were quick out of the traps scoring twice in the opening five minutes.

Joe Spratt scored after a good cross by Ben Brown before Mark Thompson's 40-yard shot proved too hot for the College 'keeper to handle.

Further strikes by Brown and Thompson in the second half completed the rout.

After the break Alderbury continued to dominate but failed to extend their lead and when Barton Stacey levelled ten minutes from time it looked likely that Alderbury would drop their first points of the season. However Mike Sheehan's goal three minutes from time wrapped up another win to leave them 15 points clear at the top of the table.
