EMILY Bryant shone as CoSARC’s sole representative in the Devon Track and Field Open in Plymouth.

CoSARC was represented by a number of young athletes at the London Mini Marathon South West trials in Taunton.
Competitors earned the right to compete based on their performances in XC and track during the season. Freddie Bosworth did very well to finish second in his age category. His superb achievement qualified him for the London Mini Marathon, to be held the day before one of the most popular public road races in the world, the London Marathon.
Wiltshire Road Race League event, the Compton Bassett 5 Mile, took place on a warm and cloudy morning.
The fast and flat course looped past the hamlet of Highway, before heading back to Compton Bassett. Kieran McManus finished in an excellent time of 33:48:90.
Salisbury Parkrun got off to a cool start and gradually got warmer with bright sunshine. Anton Weatherhead, who is emigrating to New Zealand next week, finished on a high with a glorious double when he finished first and got a PB time of 15:57.
