SOUTH Wilts Cricket Club's push for honours this summer have been boosted by the signing of Wiltshire all-rounder James Hibberd.
The 26-year-old joins the Lower Bemerton club as player/coach.
New skipper James Hayward believes the add-ition of the former Calmore and BAT Sports player to their squad will prove the missing link' for the Salisbury side.
"He is without doubt one of the best all-rounders in the league and will be a good mentor for the talented youngsters involved in the club."
Hibberd, who in 2006 became the first Wiltshire player to be awarded the prestigious Frank Ed-wards Trophy for the leading bowling average in the Minor Counties Championship, said: "I am looking forward to working closely with James Hayward and the South Wilts development team to push the club forwards."
