EMILY Bryant stormed to first place in the under-13 girls 100m in the season finale at Aldershot in an incredible time of 13.40.
She equalled a club record that had stood for 36 years.
At the English Schools Athletics Championships, Kaitlin Miller claimed silver, and a new PB, in the U15 girls discus with a throw of 32.63 metres.
In the English Schools National Championships, held on a very hot day at Manchester Sports City, Lizzie Norton knocked a huge 15 seconds off her PB in the senior girls 3,000m, with a superb time of 9:54.
This achievement bought her to the attention of the English Schools Athletics Association as she met the National Standard for the 3,000m.
The Lundy Island half marathon was run during the hottest part of a very hot day.
An elevation gain of nearly 2,000ft did not do the runners any favours either.
Despite this Lisa Marie managed a very creditable time of 3:32:15.
Abbotts Ann Trail Run 10k was run on a warm, sunny morning just outside Andover, over an undulating course that featured a mixture of terrain including open fields, shady woodland and roads. Kieran McManus recorded a comfortable time of 47:31:50.
Salisbury parkrun was run on a hot and sunny morning in Churchill Gardens. Despite the heat, Claire Clarke still bounded round in a PB time of 26:14.
