BEMERTON Heath Harlequins under 16s claimed a memorable scalp when they made their first ever visit to Golden Valley (Chalford) for their latest North Wilts League clash.

Heath defeated the Stroud side, previously unbeaten in four seasons in the Gloucester League, 3-1 courtesy of first half goals by Callum Coker (2) and Sam Aldridge.

The hosts pulled one back on the hour mark to set up a thrilling finale.

Heath's under 13s returned to winning ways with a 3-1 success against Cirencester Town. On target were Russell Jones, Stephen Burgess and Tom Spayes.

Kieran Stephens scored a hat-trick to help Laverstock & Ford under 11s reach the semi-finals of the Tyro League Cup. Luke Ash scored their other goal in the 4-1 win that keeps their League, League Cup and Wilts County Cup treble ambitions alive.

Stock's under nines were 5-0 victors at home to Clarendon Rangers.

Amesbury Town under 13s continued their push for Mid-Wilts League honours by putting seven past Trowbridge Town without reply. Despite playing with only ten men due to injuries and unavailabilty, the visitors kept the game goalless until the 18th minute when Harry Beckley broke the deadlock. Joey Barnwell and Cameron Wishart goals gave Town a 3-0 lead at the break with Conor West (2), new-signing Finn Drury and Nathan Nightingale all getting on the scoresheet in the second half.

Fordingbridge Town under tens bowed out of the Testway Cup losing 2-0 to CK Andover - the second week running they hade lost to their league rivals.

Sam Arnold's first half goal proved the difference as Clarendon Rangers under tens beat Alderbury to go eight points clear at the top of the table.

Josh Hedge and Tom Chatwin both claimed hat-tricks as Clarendon's under 14s cruised to a 15-0 win at home to Durrington Rangers.

Salisbury City under 14s started slowly at Locks Heath Lions in their Mid-Solent League game and soon found themselves one down. However, a Ben Brown effort, a brace by Rob Fisher and a Jack Aldridge goal put them 4-1 at the break. They eventually ran out 8-1 victors.

City's under nines went one better, winning 9-0 against Pewsey. Bradlee Walton scored three of their goals.

Salisbury Juniors under 14s extended their unbeaten run to eight games with a 12-0 success against Harnham B.

Alderbury girls under 12s inched closer to claiming the New Forest League Division Two title with a 5-0 win at Oakwood. Emily Bearne (2), Nikki Kirkman, Lizzy Clifford and Georgina Cant were all on target for Alderbury, who will clinch the title if they beat closest challengers Fawley Kestrels this weekend.
