SALISBURY Colts put North Dorset to the sword with a comprehensive 37-0 victory at Castle Road.

Lock Nick Morris opened the scoring with two tries before Giles Archer weaved over for another before half-time.

Nathan Vyas got the first score after the break, Angus Hogg the second and then Will Beach scored and successfully added the game's only conversion in the blustery conditions.

The scoring was complete when a cheeky side step from Gareth Johnstone saw him step inside two tackles to complete victory.

Salisbury's under 15s defeated Devizes by nine tries to one in a rearranged Wiltshire Cup match to see who heads to Wootton Bassett for Sunday's semi-final.

Sam Fowler crossed the line twice in the first half, while Josh Green, Joe Cripps, and Jack Armstrong also got on the scoresheet before Devizes responded with their solitary try.

In the second half Armstrong claimed his second, while Lewis Simmons, Sam Judd and Alex McDougall also dived over for scores.

Despite the blustery conditions, Sam Fowler converted two of the tries.

The club's under 13s turned in a fine display to triumph in a close encounter with Bournemouth, who took the lead following a period of concerted pressure.

But once Salisbury got into their stride James Martin scored an excellent try and added the conversion points before scoring again.

Martin later completed his hat-trick, adding a conversion to complete the 19-5 scoreline.

Salisbury's junior sides are on Wiltshire Cup Semi-final duty this weekend. The under 16s host Chippen-ham, the under 15s visit Wootton Bassett, the under 14s head to Corsham and the under 13s welcome Wootton Bassett.
