THERE were many outstanding performances by CoSARC’s juniors in the Wessex Young Athletes League match at Aldershot.
The pick of them were Emily Bryant (first in the 100m and 200m), Jayden and Ashton Main (800m PBs), Art Mitchell (Long Jump first), Jasper Robinson (Javelin first), (Jacob Earle 300m PB), Charlie Coles (800m first), Joseph Holme (first in the 800m and Javelin), Luca Baker (PBs 100m and 200m), Tyler Robinson (PBs in the 200m and 400m), Will Miles (PB 800m), Joseph Pratt (800m first), Cameron Jacobs (PB 1,500m), Beth Bament (first in the 200m and second in the 100m), (Kaitlin Miller first in shot put), Florence Watling (Javelin first) and Yashvi Patel (PBs in 100m and 200m).
In the Arlesford 10k, CoSARC was represented by Ben Saunby (34:27 third overall), Peter Callanan (37:35), Reece Ingram (39:24), Ollie Stone (39:34), Matthew Gervais (39:45 PB), Dave Gervais (40:07 fourth in age), Charlotte Ingram (41:06), Mike Brewster (41:15), Jason Bennett (42:13), Al Moutray (42:54), John Roberts (42:58), Sarah Brewster (45:42), Joe Cunningham 45:53.
On undulating trails in the Tarrant Valley 10K Ruth Holloway won the women’s race in 45:26.
In the south west competition for 3,000m, Lizzie Norton finished third in 10:09 and qualified for the English Schools’ nationals in July.
At Salisbury Parkrun, Tyler Robinson ran a PB time of 20:41.
