SALISBURY'S junior athletes impressed at the Inter Club Quad Competition in Marlborough.
CoSARC competed in the 100m, long jump, vortex throw and 800m, with points awarded for distance and time.
In the under-13 girls, Emily Bryant was first, with Bethany Denbury second, with Imogen Latter acquitting herself very well.
In the under-13 boys the squad of six were led home by Freddie Bosworth in first place, Noah McKay in third and superbly supported by Leslie Walsh-Evans, Jayden Main, Ashton Main and Charlie Sutton.
In the under-15 girls four of the top five places went to CoSARCians Sophie Hayakawa in first, Esme White in third, with great performances by Sophie Wood and Sophie Buck.
In the u15 boys new member George Sutton flew the flag for CoSARC, and finished third.
The Alton 10-mile race was run on one of the hottest mornings this year on a tough, undulating course.
Finishing times were : Peter Callanan 1:02:15 PB, Reece Ingram 1:05:38, Michael Brewster 1:08:25, Ollie Stone 1:09:21, Charlotte Ingram 1:11:04 (first in age, seventh lady), Jason Bennett 1:11:06, John Roberts 1:14:14 PB 2 mins, Sarah Brewster 1:15:27 2nd in age, Nick Lay 1:19:40 PB 42 seconds, Heather Hitchens 1:25:41, Jo Marks 1:38:21.
