SALISBURY'S premier road race, the Salisbury 10 Mile, was bathed in glorious sunshine just a couple of days after local flurries of snow.
The majority of club members were either racing or volunteering, with race director Charlotte Bourne praised for her organisation of the event, supported by Steven Mitchell.
The outstanding results from a selection of CoSARC runners were: Ben Saundby 53:43, Craig Weatherburn 1:04:52 PB, Mike Brewster 1:05:01, Sara Brewster 1:12:59 PB, Helen Carlton 1:30:12 PB, Carol Chlebowski 1:35:22 PB and Clare King 2:05:49.
There were amazing results in the London Landmarks Half Marathon from Jason Bennett (1:29:24 PB), Paige Holvey (1:59:16) and Petra Oyston, making a post-COVID comeback in 2:26:53.
There were perfect running conditions at the Goodwood Marathon, which consisted of 11 laps of the circuit. James Mills notched up his 10th sub-three hour marathon with a time of 2:53:59. Katie Clements bagged a PB and second in age in 3:58:45.
The Manchester Marathon was run in near perfect conditions on a cold and calm day. There were excellent performances all round from Anne-Marie Bayliss (2:57:27 PB), Dave Gervais (3:22:56) and Steve Perry (3:27:32 PB).
