ZOE Lambard shaved three minutes off her personal best with a strong performance at the Hullavington 20 mile race.
Lambard was using the event as a training run for the Manchester marathon in April.
She finished in 2:45:04, coming home as the first female in the VF40 category.
Salisbury runners also took part in the Larmer spring half marathon. In tough conditions, Edward Cane finished in 2:04:18, with Katie Mahoney in 2:36:49. Kate Buttimer finished in 2:41:00 in her first White Star half marathon.
Vicky Robinson finished 27 miles in 4:44:51 in the hilly and muddy Larmer Tree White Star marathon event.
In the Surrey half marathon, Poppy Langdon-Down recorded a magnificent time of 1:29:51, finishing as 12th female out of a field of over 500.
The Larmer Tree seven mile was a hilly off road course. A portent of things to come was a marshal dressed as the Grim Reaper, waiting for runners at the top of the steepest hill in the first half of the race.
Richard Williams finished in 1:04:23, with Amanda Ansell coming home in 1:39:47.
