SALISBURY City's preparations for Sunday's televised Blue Square Premier match at home to league leaders Aldershot Town have been boosted by Darrell Clarke and Scott Bartlett being declared fit.
Both players, sidelined in recent weeks because of injury, came through last night's training session, delighting manager Nick Holmes, who said: "Training was excellent. Darrell and Scott both looked good and will be in the squad for Saturday."
Holmes is, however, still awaiting news on striker Matt Tubbs, who is due to see a specialist today (Friday) concerning the toe injury he picked up on England duty in Helsinki earlier this month.
Holmes confirmed that although full-back Jon Bass was still a couple of weeks away from returning to fitness, he was happy with his progress.
