DOWNTON booked their place in the final of Bournemouth Senior Cup by taking the scalp of Wessex League Premier Division side Hamworthy United.
The Division One Robins travelled to Dorset as underdogs and came away 2-1 winners on Tuesday night.
Leading goal scorer TJ Moseley gave them the lead, but by half-time Hamworthy were level after Fawzi Saadi equalised.
Dan Telfer with a lovely struck free-kick scored the winner after the interval.
The other semi-final also took place on Tuesday night and an all Premier Division clash saw Brockenhurst win at Lymington Town 2-1.
Promotion hunting Downton are back in league action this Saturday with a trip to Folland Sports.
Then on Tuesday night, they entertain Shrewton in the Salisbury Hospital Cup quarter-finals.
