Free football sessions for girls
SALISBURY Rovers are hosting free girls football sessions on Sunday, June 18 and Sunday, July 9.
The session are held at the Portway pitch (off Stratford road), and are open to girls aged 7-14, with girls of all abilities welcome.
The club was given a grant by the football foundation last year, and are using the money to run monthly sessions for girls to encourage them to play.
All sessions are run by FA qualified coaches and the club say that girls football is just as important as boys football and supporting and encouraging girls to play.
