Amesbury teenagers clinch the league title
AMESBURY Juniors FC Under 16s clinched the Mid Wilts Green league after an exciting 3-2 win over Devizes Town in the last game of the season.
Goals from Matthew Hick, Jamie Halloran and a penalty 10 minutes from time from Jack Rayfield, gave the Amesbury side their second league title in three years.
Having only lost one game all season, Amesbury snatched the league from Alderbury Under 16s by two points.
