LAVERSTOCK and Ford ladies leapfrogged Melksham Town after thumping them 6-0 on Sunday.
A hat-trick from Kelly Burton, Leanne Griffiths-Lover's brace and Evie Cummings' goal picked up a crucial victory and one that pushes them up to fourth in the Wiltshire Premier League.
"The ladies were very impressive," said manager Karen Musselwhite.
"They kept possession during the game to come away 6-0 winners, a great performance against a strong team."
It bodes well for Lavvy's Wiltshire FA semi-final clash with Swindon Spitfires at The Dell on Sunday, March 19 (2pm).
The winner will face either Trowbridge Town or Swindon Supermarine in the final.
