THE history books were ripped apart as South Newton and Wishford United hammered Swindon AFC 19-0 in what is believed to be their highest scoring victory in the Wiltshire Junior Cup.
Dan Brain found the net seven times, Phil Dewey and Graham Brown scored hat-tricks, Reese Boase and Keith Darling registered braces and there were one apiece for Micky Tutton and Dan Smith in the first round.
Elsewhere in the cup, Oaksey beat D.I United 2-1, Porton Sports lost a dramatic penalty shootout 4-3 after it had finished 4-4 AET and Sarum Youth Seniors romped to a 6-1 win at the hands of The Stiffs.
Blunsdon United and Old Town received home walkovers the Saturday before last.
The draw for the second round has been made and below is who are local teams will face; Chiseldon v Alderbury, South Newton v Three Daggers, Stockton and Codford v Blunsdon, Ashton Keynes v Redlynch and Woodfalls and Moredon v Sarum Youth Seniors.
Games are scheduled for Saturday, November 19 (1.30pm).
On Saturday, the quarter finals of the Charity A Cup took place.
Porton Sports beat Value Cars 9-0, Sarum Youth Seniors 5-1 Chalke Valley, D.I United 3-1 South Newton and Wishford and there was a bye for Railway Social Club.
