FUTSAL side FC Salisbury United opened their National Two Midlands/West campaign with a resounding 10-1 win over Worcester.
Cheered on by 100 fans at their new Five Rivers Leisure Centre home, Corinthians provided a ruthless display.
Shaun Prentice terrorised the visitors' defence, bagging five goals. Debutant Luke Williams claimed a hat-trick and Eddie Perrett scored a brace as well being involved in other goals.
Amesbury goalkeeper Paddy Crease was much a spectator, barring the penalty save in the second half.
Head coach Geoff Bonner told JournalSport: "At half time we went in 2-1 up, and the team was in total control of the game.
"The second half we witnessed some of the finest futsal my squad has ever produced.
"When you consider a number of players also made their debut appearances the prospects for this young group cannot be understated."
