LAVERSTOCK ladies crashed out of the Mid Wilts Youth Cup after a semi-final defeat to Swindon 2-1.
Jenny Parr gave Lavvy an early lead with a long-range effort but two goals in five minutes put Swindon in the ascendancy.
Kylie Allen hit the post and Danielle Burgess came close with a long-range volley for Lavvy as they chased a much-needed second goal, which never came.
Manager Karen Musselwhite said: "Ladies played very well against a tough opposition.
We were unlucky and I'm proud of the way they played in the second half and they are all winners in my eyes."
