THE FA Futsal Cup will be hosted in the city for the first time after FC Salisbury United were given a home tie against Birmingham Tigers on Sunday, March 20.
The match kicks off at 3.30pm in Five Rivers Leisure Centre with cheerleading group Phoenix Stars providing pre-game entertainment.
England Futsal’s all-time leading goal scorer Luke Ballinger has told JournalSport much graft has gone into organising the tie.
He said: “A lot of work has been carried out by the various parties and we are thrilled to be using the refurbished facilities at Five Rivers for such a prestigious event.
Just over half of the 250 allocated tickets have been sold. To buy a ticket, costing £3, email Russyparsons@gmail.com
