WEST Harnham picked up a crucial win to steer away from the relegation zone in Salisbury and District (Premier) Saturday.
They beat South Newton and Wishford 2-1 at Parsonage Green on Saturday.
The clash was the only one to go ahead in the league after Stockton and Codford's game with Amesbury King Arms was postponed.
Leaders Alderbury, eight points clear at the top, had a break from league action when they hosted Alderholt in the Lord Bledisloe Cup.
But hopes of silverware in that competition were dashed when they lost 5-3 (AET).
