STRONGMEN battled it out in Salisbury’s second Powerlifting Championships on Sunday to raise money for Lucy’s Days Out.
An enthusiastic crowd showed their support by rocking Salisbury Arts Centre for the event, which raised £385 for the charity.
The competitors were keen to impress Salisbury powerlifting legends Bill West, Neil Arnold and Lee Steggles in the squat, bench press and deadlift categories.
Nathan Bage, from Amesbury, won the lightweight division, while Figheldean’s Adam Hindle triumphed in the heavyweight class and was also named best lifter of the competition trophy.
