HALFWAY House reserves made it a magnificent seven wins on the spin despite falling behind to Deacon Alms reserves midway through the first half.

Ronnie Weeks levelled just after the break with a deflected shot from the edge of the box and although the torrential rain ruined any chance of a pretty game, James Hennessy wrapped up the points with a clinical curling finish.

Porton Sports made it to the semi-finals of the Premier Cup with a convincing 4-0 win at Durrington Dynamos.

FC Salisbury United continued their winning start to their Swindon Futsal League campaign with a good win against one of the title favourites, Racing Snails from Swindon.

The game was deadlocked at 2-2 for a good while until skipper Seb Dawes broke out of defence to convert a solo effort which seemed to turn the tide in favour of The Corinthians who then went on to dominate the game.

Goals from Toz Judd (three), Dawes (two), and man of the match Geoff Bonner sealed the 6-2 victory.

Happy manager Steve Chalk commented afterwards: “This is a much better measure of where we are at because they are a decent side and fancied to win the league.

“The lads were excellent once again tonight and put in a very disciplined team performance which enabled us to build on a good middle period, where we consolidated our dominance of the game."
