SALISBURY Boxing Club is celebrating the success of three of its junior boxes, as well as the opening of its new premises.
On Sunday, October 20, Walter Smith Jr, 16, Luca Mahony, 17, and Kiara Baron, 14, travelled four hours to Bolton for an amateur boxing fight.
The event, 'A day of boxing, home show', was held at Premier Boxing Club.

Walter was delighted to have won his match and while Luca and Kiara did not quite get what they were hoping for, Walter Smith Snr, coach at Salisbury City Boxing Club said: "they both boxed very well. It wasn't the outcome they were hoping for but we're very proud of what they've done."
He went on to say that Walter Jr is a "role model" at the club, saying: "Walter is the role model of the gym, they all look up to him because of his hard work." He trains at the club five days a week.
Walter Jr said: "Thank you to my Dad, Walter Smith and Dennis Callahan for all the hard training and time that you put in.
"The club has moved next to euro parts in Churchfields so I want to thank Eddie and Ray and Joey and all the others that put in the hard work in getting the new gym looking very good."
The new gym opened on Monday, October 28 after the owner of their previous building, also in Churchfields, sold. It was organised in a short space of time by coaches Ray Sparrow and Eddie McDickson.
