BARN FIND ALERT. A classic MINI Hatchback has been unearthed in a lock-up thirty-one years after it last tasted tarmac. And this is no ordinary little car. Why? Because performance tuning specialists Oselli – in one of their earliest conversions – upgraded it to 1125cc specification. Furthermore, this MINI was registered in 1961 then retired to its unglamorous lock-up in the eighties. It now needs lots of work and a new owner to restore its once vibrant blue paintwork. As such, it will be auctioned at the Barons’ British Heritage Sale at Sandown Park on September 18th 2012. Expect to pay between £7,000 and £10,000. As for the restoration cost... expect to pay a small fortune - followed by a big one.
