SALISBURY'S under eights B-team were narrowly beaten in their South Wilts Youth & Badger League at Pewsey.
Thomas Barrett was their star man controlling the midfield for majority of the game. As soon as the team can start turning solid pressure into goals, then their first win can't be far away.
City's under 11s made it three wins out of three with a convincing 10-1 victory over Redlynch & Woodfalls - scorers were Macauly Njie (4), Lyndon Taylor (3), Charles Allen, Jamie Jackson and Greg Potts.
Whites' under 16s proved a point in their Mid-Solent Division One home clash against TC Tornadoes, a side they have struggled to beat in recent encounters.
A tenth-minute shot from Jack Gentle was fumbled by TC's 'keeper, but followed up by Matt Dyson who found the net.
City right-back Byrum Wiltshire volleyed home from 35 yards to make it 2-0.
Salisbury continued the pressure in the second half and made it 3-0 when Jack Gentle's overhead kick hit the net.
Fifteen minutes from time, Salisbury conceded from a free-kick and some great saves from Tom Robinson kept the final score at 3- 1 to keep them top of the table.
Meanwhile City's under 14s beat Trafalgar Blue 8-0 in their Division One match with five goals from Tom Cobb and one apiece from Brad Shaw, Bryn Kelly and Luke Savage.
Salisbury's under 16s would like to hear from players who would like to become involved in the club's Mid Wilts side playing on a Sunday afternoon.
Training is from 7- 8.30pm on Wednesday evenings at the training ground adjacent to the Raymond McEnhill Stadium.
