BROWNIES across Salisbury and south Wiltshire have been enjoying the warm spring weather and expressing their creativity with many Easter activities.

The fun started with 18 girls at 1st Landford Brownies who decided the German tradition of festooning trees with ornately painted eggs would be fun and set about delicately hand painting individual eggs with colourful nail polishes, before decorating a young tree with their bright creations.

Girls from 1st Harnham Brownie pack stuck to a more English tradition of designing their own Easter bonnets and attaching hand made flowers, printed silks and fluffy model chicks before having a parade around their hall to exhibit their finished work Fairies and princesses were in evidence in Bemerton and Laverstock as Rainbows and Brownies dressed to impress at colourful Easter parties.
