SALISBURY'S Under 16s demonstrated six appeal for the second week running in Division One of the Mid Solent League.
They followed up the previouos week's 6-1 win at Clanfield by defeating Waltham Wolves at home by the same score.
On target were Eddie Perrett, Christian Rees (2), Jack Gentle (2) and Mike Nicholson - though a spectacular save late on from goalkeeper Tom Robinson prevented Waltham from reducing the arrears further.
The manager acknowledged the commitment of his team to the cause - two players ended the match with broken noses following injuries sustained in separate incidents.
City's Under 14s matched their older club mates by beating Crofton Saints 6-1 courtesy of a hat-trick from Tom Cobb, two goals from Bradley Shaw and one from Ollie Roe.
In the South Wilts Youth & Badger League Under tens Blue League, City beat Downton 8-0. Ryan Bennett led the way with a hat-trick with Niran Duke, Leighton Dabil (2), Kyran Pyke (2) and James Clarke also on target.
Salisbury's under nines won both their matches this week. They beat Wyvern Warriors 1-0 in the Eastleigh & District Mini Soccer League courtesy of a goal from Jake Rawkins, while in the South Wilts Youth & Badger League they beat Ludgershall A 2-1 with goals from Ryan Brice and Owen Brown.
The club's under eights picked up their first point of the season after a thrilling and tense encounter with Laverstock Lions which finished 0-0 despite the number of shots by both teams.
Congratulations must go to the outstanding performance of the two goalkeepers.
