THE mayor of Salisbury’s big charity fun day takes place at Harnham sports and social club on Saturday.
Singing star Toyah Wilcox will open the event at noon and will be performing live on stage.
During the day, there will be a display by the MoD dog team, a battle from the British Plate Armour Society, entertainment from local singers Jamie Eldridge and Cherise Trueman, a beer tent, a host of stalls and games and children’s rides.
All the daytime events are free.
In the evening, tribute acts Mercury and Complete Madness will be performing. Tickets cost £20 and the doors open at 6.30pm.
All the proceeds from the event will go to the mayor’s charity, the Stars Appeal’s Caring 4 Kids Campaign.
Tickets for the evening concert are available by calling 01722 323801 or from Harnham Club.
