EXPERT flower arrangers brought history to life through flowers this week at St Mary and All Saints Church in.
The Ringwood Floral Decoration Society's team of flower arrangers created depictions of the New Forest, and the Second World War airfield at Ibsley, Lord Normanton, the Somerley estate and even Ringwood Carnival were brought to life in petals.
Scores of visitors attended the event at the church, which dates back to Norman times and is steeped in history, with the churchyard being the final resting place of Dame Alice Lisle, who was executed in 1685 by “Bloody Judge Jeffreys” for harbouring fugitives.
