HISTORY is being brought to live in Burley thanks to Heritage Lottery Funding.
The Burley Living History committee has scooped the maximum £50,000 for a project that will showcase the history and heritage of the village.
Two exhibitions will be staged over the next year.
The committee is seeking a location for a permanent museum in the village.
And Gwynne Kynaston, headteacher of Burley Primary School, will be incorporating Burley Living History into the school’s curriculum for the next academic year.
A filmmaker will be coming into the school to teach children film making techniques to enable them to create a film featuring an aspect of life in Burley.
