IMPRESSIONIST Ronni Ancona paid a visit to a Salisbury school on Thursday to judge a public speaking contest.
Teachers and pupils at Salisbury Cathedral School welcomed the actor, known for her impressions with Alistair McGowan on BBC’s Big Impressions and for her part as the mother of Katie and Emily Fitch in the Channel 4 show Skins.
She judged the contest and presented the 2010 Key Cup for Spoken English to senior winner Rowan Kitchen and junior winner Joseph Feest.
The runners up – Rossy Mayhew and Freddie Bond for the senior section and Tabitha Archer and Anna Laakkonen for the junior section – were also presented with cups.
