VOLUNTEERS from across Wiltshire attended the annual Parkinson’s UK conference in Salisbury on Wednesday.
Over 40 dedicated volunteers attended the event at the Rose and Crown Hotel in Harnham, along with chief executive, Steve Ford and South West Regional Manager, Neil Smart.
In Wiltshire, more than 1,200 people suffer from Parkinson’s Disease, a progressive neurological condition that is believed to affect one in every 500 people in the UK.
The daylong conference involved workshops, a networking lunch and a discussion of the plans for the charity in the following 12 months.
