A NOTICEBOARD in Amesbury will get a much-needed lick of paint this weekend.
The Old Forge Shop in Stonehenge Walk opened at the beginning of the year and provides information and news about a range of community initiatives and services.
Tomorrow, willing people from Wiltshire Council’s housing team and from the Amesbury Area Board will join with local volunteers to repaint the shop’s sign.
An increasing number of local people are visiting the shop and so far a wide range of organisations have made use of it including Amesbury Neighbourhood Police Team, English Heritage, Help for Heroes and local arts groups.
The shop was set up with funding from Action 4 Wiltshire – the Wiltshire Assembly’s campaign to help the county during the economic downturn.
