ALLOTMENT holders in Salisbury are being given the chance to showcase their talents in an annual Scarecrow competition.
The competition organised by Salisbury City Council and Salisbury Allotment Association, is only open to allotment holders and their families.
The council’s parks officer Debbie Cox said: “All our allotment holders put in so much time and effort each year and there really are a fantastic array of scarecrow characters. We look forward to receiving the entries.”
The competition closing date is June 30 and judging will be carried out in July, with three cash prizes available.
