A PUPIL from a Salisbury school has won his age group at the Junior Wessex Athletics meeting.
Nine-year-old Gregory Kitson from Norman Court School in West Tytherley won the Athlete of the Under Tens at the meet at Hordle Walhampton School. He won the under ten boys’ throw, the 75m sprint and came second in the 200m sprint.
Marcus Reeve, director of sport at the school, said: “We are enormously proud of all the children, including Gregory, particularly for the quiet way in which they accept victory or defeat.”
