A MAN is in hospital with serious head injuries after he was thrown from his car in an accident on the A360 last night.
The incident happened just after 4.30pm when the 38-year-old was travelling southbound between Tilshead and Shrewton in a dark blue Ford Mondeo.
The vehicle left the road to the near side and rolled, ending up upside down on the road.
The man, who is from the Netheravon area, was airlifted to Salisbury District Hospital where is he said to be in a serious but stable condition.
Officers from Wiltshire Police’s serious collision investigation team in Chippenham are appealing for any witnesses to the crash – or anyone who saw the vehicle prior to it – to contact them.
