THREE people have been arrested after a double decker bus was found crashed into a wall at the Archers Gate estate in Amesbury.
The bus, stolen from the bus station in the town centre, was found abandoned on Redworth Drive in the early hours of Friday morning with damage to its front end and a smashed door.
A green Volkswagen Polo and a silver Honda Jazz parked in the area were also found to be damaged, as well as three other buses at the bus station.
Police received a call shortly after 3am and three people – two 16-year-old girls and a 21-year-old man – were arrested on suspicion of aggravated vehicle taking.
They have been released on police bail pending further inquiries.
