FATHERS, grandfathers, uncles and brothers dropped in to Harnham Infant School last week for Men in School Week.
Lots of male relatives went to the school throughout the week to lend a hand in classes, talk to the children about their jobs, share a skill, read their favourite book or share their school-day memories. Among the visitors were grandfathers who were in the Air Force, uncles who are policemen, fathers who are doctors and brothers who sang and played piano.
Anna Glover from the school said: “The children have been really inspired by all the different men who have come in and have been full of questions for them.”
At the end of the week they had a visit from Salisbury MP John Glen who told the children about his job then faced a mini Question Time from the Year 2 children.
