MORE than 40 dads from Farley Nursery School celebrated Father's Day early by sharing an open-air breakfast with their children.
They were treated to sausages and bacon rolls with fried bread cooked on an open fire by nursery staff.
There were wheelbarrow rides and an impromptu five-a side football match to mark the start of the World Cup, while mums got the chance to catch up on some ‘me time’.
Principal Sue Palmer said: “We like to involve the dads, who are not always as freely available to take part in nursery life.”
