A NEW room has been opened at Castle Primary School for the benefit of the local community.
Children served strawberries, cream and shortbread to visitors at the opening of the Ludgershall Community Room earlier this month.
Headteacher Andy Bridewell said: “The afternoon was really well attended. The room will be extremely beneficial and open up many opportunities for the local area, as well as bringing the school and community closer together.”
The room will have several different uses including as a training place for childminders and community police. The local church will also use it to hold creative workshops for families.
