A WEEKLY Friday market will be held at the Verwood memorial hall, replacing the country market which has closed after 34 years.
Verwood country bazaar has been set up by friends Tess Tyler and Jackie Broomfield and will be open from 10am to 12noon.
The market will sell crafts, art, toys, cakes, preserves, teas, vegetables and plants among other items.
Mayor Jean Hazel will open the market on June 25.
