THERE will be planes flying in and out of Boscombe Down during the next few evenings as part of training exercises at the base.
Tonight, tomorrow and Wednesday night flying by a Hercules transport aircraft is planned between 10pm and 1am, and on Tuesday there will also be fast jet activity until 8.30pm.
The main runway should be in use unless the wind direction prevents this.
A spokesman said late night flying is routinely kept to a minimum, however realistic training at night is essential preparation for operations in Afghanistan.
