YEARS of neglect have made an eyesore of this wall at the bus station, according to Salisbury Civic Society.

“It is such a poor advert for Salisbury for passengers who are arriving or leaving,” said the society’s Judy Payne.

“I am sure that it would be appreciated if the bus company could smarten it up.

“I would not have thought that it would cost a great deal, and its redecoration would be uplifting for regular passengers and visitors alike.”

A Wilts & Dorset spokesman said: “We have allocated some money to clean and redecorate the wall in due course, which will result in a great improvement in its appearance.”
